Vehicle Issues

1.    Must I wear a seat belt in a Yellow Cab Of Victoria car?

Yes. The wearing of seat belts is mandatory in the Province of British Columbia.

2.    Must my child be in a child safety/booster seat?

We are exempt under Provincial law of any requirement to provide child seats (which includes both infant seats and booster seats) for our younger passengers.  However, this exemption is not extended to riding in a taxi without an appropriate child safety restraint.

The wearing of seat belts is mandatory in the Province of British Columbia.  If you require transportation of a child without the supervision of an adult or legal guardian, please assure the child is aware of the seat belt regulation and that they are required to ride in the rear of the taxi.
